Duisburg lies in one of the most vibrant regions of Germany, the so-called Ruhr, which was the European Capital of Culture in 2010. Another tourism highlight - especially for nightlife - is the Innenhafen (Inner Harbour) of Duisburg. A wide range of restaurants, clubs and bars, arranged between industrial history and modern office buildings, invites for the leisure time.
