Even the research at the department is oriented on the key elements of the current issues of waste management.  In the laboratory as well as in testing halls developments in laboratory- and technical scale are operated to simulate the existing processes and for further development. Intensive regional and international cooperation with companies and organizations is as much a part as numerous collaborations with universities and research institutes both at home and abroad.
