Objective
The first conference of this series (CableCon2012) successfully introduced a forum for research on cable robots worldwide. Fifty scientists from three continents gathered in Stuttgart and presented the state of the art and latest research results. The second conference aims to present new results, to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas, and to establish contacts amongst all the international teams.
Conference Topics
Theory and application of cable-driven parallel robots including:
- Classification
- Kinematics, Workspace and Singularity Analysis
- Statics and Dynamics Cable Modeling
- Control and Calibration
- Design Methodology
- Hardware Development
- Experimental Evaluation
- Prototypes, Application Reports and new Application concepts
