Most of the study programs offered at the Faculty of Social Science are German-lectured programs:
 

• BA Sociology
• BA Political Science 
• BA Modern East Asian Studies
• MA Theory and Comparative Studies of Political Systems in Transition
• MA Policy Management, Public Policy and Public Administration
• MA International Relations and Development Policy
• MA Survey Methodology
• MA Sociology

For these programs a high command of the German language is required. Exceptions are the English-lectured MA programs Development and Governance, Contemporary East Asian Studies and Modern East Asian Studies.

Prospective students interested in pursuing a degree in one of the study programs offered at the Faculty of Social Science should read the prerequisites for the respective study program carefully.
