Information for exchance students

Our faculty offers several programs in which international students are invited to study.
Besides a broad course offer in German language, we also provide some lectures in English.

Being part of the University Alliance Metropolis Ruhr (UAMR), our faculty cooperates closely with the Faculty of Social Science at Ruhr-University Bochum (RUB), and each semester we provide an international course catalogue listing all English-lectured lectures and seminars. Hence, our incoming exchange students can choose from a broad variety of
courses offered in English at both faculties.

Students interested in studying at the Faculty of Social Science for one or two semesters as part of their home university’s degree (exchange students) should first of all contact their home department’s coordinator in order to find out if a bilateral agreement exists between their home faculty and one of our faculty’s institutes.
