Hanno Jentzsch receives best paper award
2016 Francesco Kjellberg Award by the International Political Science Association (IPSA), Montreal for the "Outstanding Papers Presented by New Scholars for 2016"
Hanno Jentzsch has received the award for his dissertation-based paper, Tracing the Local Origins of Farmland Policies in Japan – Local-National Policy Transfers and Endogenous Institutional Change. He was a fellow in the GRK 1613, finished his dissertation defense in January 2016 (supervisor Prof. Karen Shire), then moved into a post-doc position at IN-EAST until September 2016, when he joined the German Institute of Japan Studies, Tokyo as a Senior Fellow.
