Guest Professor: Yilong Lu

Professor Yilong Lu will join the GRK 1613/2 "Risk and East Asia" from 21.05.2017 - 10.07.2017

Professor Lu of the School of Sociology and Population Studies, Renmin University of China, obtained his PhD in Sociology at Peking University in 2000. His main research interests are: China’s Huji system, rural China, law and society, water resource and society. Published books include: The Huji System (2003), Overstepping Hukou (2004), The Definition of Flowing Property Right (2004), Embedded Adapting Pattern (2006), The Embedded Politics and Change of a Village Economy (2007),Peasantry China (2010), Qualitative Social Research Methods (2011), Institution, Market and Development of Rural China (2013), Disputes and Order in Transitional China (2015), Post-earthbound China (2017). He has published more than 100 papers in Chinese academic journals.
