Yuan Li at the Global Solution Summit 2019

– The World Policy Forum – held by the Global Solutions Initiative, March 18–19, 2019 in Berlin

The summit aimed to provide policy recommendations on major G20 issues and thereby served as a stepping stone to the Japanese T20 Summit in May 2019 and the Japanese G20 Summit in June 2019. Chancellor Merkel, members of government and other renowned persons gave keynote speeches, many distinguished international scientists, administrators and politicians contributed to various panels on topics such as sustainable development, infrastructure finance, financial architecture, trade and investment, climate change, future of work and education, social cohesion and the future of politics, SME policy, policies for aging populations. Yuan Li, Acting Professor of East Asian Economic and Business Studies at IN-EAST, contributed to the panel on Chinas Role in Africa and Its Implications for Africa and the Other G20 Countries.
