Nicolas Schillinger

Nicolas is a cultural historian specializing in the history of science and the history of masculinity in nineteenth and twentieth century China. He received his doctorate from Heidelberg University and worked as a lecturer and visiting professor at Freie Universität Berlin. Before joining the Institute of East Asian Studies at the University of Duisburg-Essen, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg.
