Different concepts related to lane-keeping of motor vehicles are developed and evaluated. The main focus of research is the development of a stable and robust algorithms and its driver acceptance. The assistance is communicated to the driver by means a moment superposed on the steering wheel. Additionally the interconnection of the lanekeeping assistance system with other assistance systems, such as Adaptive Cruise Control, is investigated. The resulting system is tested both in a simulator as well as in a real vehicle.
