Description: ARUS was established in 2010 and at the beginning was funded by German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and German Federal Ministry of Education and research (BMBF). It is an interdisciplinary study group, which tackles various urban system issues.
PhD research focuses on public participation measures that are implemented during various river management projects. This particular research aims to analyze how public participation could be used in development projects to ensure success and long-lasting positive effects.
