Über 12 Jahre wurde im Sonderforschungsbereich 445 über Nanopartikel aus der Gasphase geforscht und die verschiedensten Aspekte, von der Herstellung und Verarbeitung über die elektrischen, optischen und magnetischen Eigenschaften bis hin Anwendungen und Produkten, untersucht.
