Dr. Namhyun Choi: Best Junior Researcher

Dr. Namhyun Choi, a postdoctoral researcher in the Schlücker group at the Department of Chemistry (Physical Chemistry I) and CENIDE member, was one of the two recipients of the Best Junior Researcher Award presented at the International Conference on Raman Spectroscopy (ICORS) 2024 in Rome, the world's largest biannual Raman conference. This prestigious award honors emerging Raman spectroscopists for their outstanding work, in Dr. Choi’s case bioanalytical and biomedical applications of surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) in conjunction with advanced detection platforms.
