Prof. Dr. Bernd Rüschoff was awarded the AILA Honorary Membership

On August 16th 2021, Prof. Dr. Bernd Rüschoff was awarded the AILA Honorary Membership. The AILA 2021 online award ceremony included this laudatio: „Prof Rüschoff is internationally known for his work on second language acquisition, technology in language learning, and cognitive-constructivist approaches. His work represents the synergy between language teaching as practice and Applied Linguistics as theory. Prof Rüschoff is a past President of AILA, a past President of GAL and a past President of EUROCALL. Honorary Membership of AILA is awarded in recognition of his outstanding contribution to Applied Linguistics, to GAL, and to AILA.”
