Katharina Böhm - invited speaker in EFL-Education seminar

On Dec. 14, 2021 Katharina Böhm, special education teacher from Raoul-Wallenberg-Schule (Dorsten), gave a talk on “Inklusiver Englischunterricht – Unterrichtsgestaltung vor dem Hintergrund des Universal Design for Learning (UDL) unter Berücksichtigung von Lernenden mit dem Förderschwerpunkt Sprache“ in the FD2.1 seminar “Inclusion in the EFL classroom“, taught by Krystina Mensing. Katharina talked about inclusion, needs and difficulties of children with Förderschwerpunkt Sprache and how (future) EFL teachers can cater for the needs of learners who face challenges with regard to language acquisition and processing as well as speech activity. All students really appreciated Katharina’s talk and the insights she gave into her daily work as a special education teacher. Thanks for coming!
