Karriereforum for Postdocs: Professorship at a University of Applied Sciences

If you want to pursue an academic career, a professorship at an University of Applied Sciences (UAS) can be an attractive option. How do they differ from university professorships? What are the prerequisites for such a professorship? And how do appointments typically proceed? The 23rd Karriereforum on 29 September will provide comprehensive information about the career path of a UAS professorship and offer space for your individual questions. Various experts, including from the Hochschullehrerbund, will take time for in-depth discussions on the topics of application and appointment, professorships at a private UAS, and research as well as research funding at UAS. In addition, different UAS professors will provide subject-specific insights into their everyday work. Furthermore, short one-on-one consultations on individual career issues with experienced coaches will be offered throughout the day.
