Reminder: Einschränkungen durch Modernisierung der IDM-Infrastruktur vom 21.11. bis 25.11.22

In der Woche vom 21.11. bis 25.11.2022 stellt das ZIM das IDM auf ein neues Softwareprodukt um (siehe https://www.uni-due.de/apps/rss.php?id=3671&db=zim )

Bitte beachten Sie folgende Einschränkungen während der Umstellung:

  • Der Zugriff auf das Selfcareportal ist weder durch Sie, noch durch die Benutzerverwaltung möglich;
  • Das Ändern Ihres Passworts ist nicht möglich;
  • Es können keine neuen Kennungen angelegt werden;
  • Sie können Ihre Mailquota (Speicherplatz Ihres E-Mailpostfaches) nicht erhöhen;
  • Kolleg:innen, die auf dem Hochleistungsrechner arbeiten, können sich ohne Umwege auf diesem anmelden.
  • Die "Freischaltfunktion" im Selfcareportal wird deaktiviert.

Bitte stellen Sie sicher, dass Sie Ihr Passwort kennen und noch eine Quotareserve in Ihrem Mailpostfach haben.

Ihre alltäglichen Arbeitsprozesse sind von diesem Umzug voraussichtlich nicht betroffen. Sie werden weiterhin alle Systeme im gewohnten Umfang nutzen können.

Over the past two years, preparatory measures have been taken to modernise the identity management (IDM) infrastructure at UDE.

The IDM is used to manage your university ID with the associated authorisations.

In the week from 21.11. to 25.11.2022, ZIM will convert the IDM to a new software product in order to put the prepared measures into live operation.

Please note the following restrictions during the changeover:

  • Access to the Selfcare Portal is neither possible by you, nor by the user administration;
  • It is not possible to change your password;
  • It is not possible to create new University-IDs (Unikennung);
  • You cannot increase your mail quota (storage space in your e-mail box);
  • Colleagues who work on the high-performance computer can log on to it without any detours. The "unlock" function in the Selfcare Portal will be deactivated.

Please make sure you know your password and still have a quota reserve in your mailbox.

Your day-to-day work processes are not expected to be affected by this move. You will still be able to use all systems to the usual extent.
