ZLV receives Chinese delegation

The Centre for Logistics & Traffic (ZLV) is increasingly perceived as a best practice example by Chinese delegations. The most recent visitors, a group from Sinchuan, had come to Germany for three weeks to learn about economic promotion and development of new industries. In the context of this trip, they visited ZLV on November 12, 2015.

The 23 participants were officers from agencies and departments from the province of Sinchuan, who wanted to learn about ZLV because of its unique interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary constellation.

Upon the guests' wish, Prof. Bernd Noche and Klaus Krumme covered the following topics.
• Presentation of the interdisciplinary center of excellence of the University of Duisburg Essen
• Linking scientific research and practice transfer in the areas of logistics , mobility and transport
• Current projects for the design of future supply and value chains and energy-efficient transport systems / infrastructures

The event was held with the generous support of DIALOGistik Duisburg, which aids ZLV in the implementation of delegation events and exchanges with the international guests.
