DST-Institutsdirektor Prof. Dr.-Ing. El Moctar berät Innovationskommission des BMVI

Als einer von insgesamt 16 Experten ist Prof. Dr.-Ing. Bettar Ould El Moctar, ZLV-Mitglied und Institutsdirektor des DST – Entwicklungszentrum für Schiffstechnik und Transportsysteme e.V., in die Innovationskommission zum Innovationsprogramm Logistik 2030 des Bundesministeriums für Verkehr und digitale Infrastruktur (BMVI) berufen worden.

Die Innovationskommission wird von Steffen Bilger MdB, Parlamentarischer Staatssekretär beim Bundesminister für Verkehr und digitale Infrastruktur und Koordinator der Bundesregierung für Güterverkehr und Logistik, geleitet und dient der fachlichen Beratung bei der Weiterentwicklung des Innovationsprogramms Logistik 2030. Das Gremium wird ein- bis zweimal jährlich tagen.
Das Innovationsprogramms Logistik 2030 dient Deutschlands Sicherung der Position des Logistikweltmeisters und Innovationsstandorts und beinhaltet zehn Maßnahmenfelder, für die jeweils Ziele und Umsetzungsschritte definiert wurden. Mit dem Programm soll die Logistik wettbewerbsfähig gehalten und ihr Beitrag zum Klimaschutz erhöht werden. Neben diversen Themenfeldern wie ein verkehrsträgerübergreifendes digitales Transportmanagement, die innovative Luftfracht und die Berufswelt der Zukunft ist darin auch das Maßnahmenfeld „Innovative Häfen und Wasserstraßen“ enthalten, das unter anderem von Prof. Dr.-Ing. El Moctar vertreten werden wird.

DST institute director appointed as member of the innovation commission of federal transport ministry
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Bettar Ould El Moctar, ZLV member and institute director of DST – Development Center of Ship Technology and Transport Systems, has been appointed as one of 16 members of the innovation commission of the German federal ministry of transport and digital infrastructure (BMVI).


The innovation commission is coordinated by Mr. Steffen Bilger MdB, parliamentary undersecretary at BMVI and the German government's freight transport and logistics coordinator. The commission provides technical advice for the realization and further development of logistics innovation program 2030 and meets once or twice a year.
As a means to safeguard Germany’s position as logistics world champion and innovation hub, the logistics innovation program 2030 encompasses ten areas with respective objectives and realization steps. The program contributes to ensuring the competitiveness and fostering climate protection. Apart from areas like “digital supply chain”, “future labor market”, and “innovative air freight”, the program presents objectives and measures for the area “innovative ports and waterways”, which again will be co-represented by Prof. Dr.-Ing. El Moctar.
