We have made a reservation in the Hotel Panorama Harburg located in walking distance (~1km) to TUHH.
The rooms are offered at a special rate (139.23 EUR / night). To book a room please contact the hotel directly via email (info@panoramaharburg.de) and mention our workshop "2nd German-Brazilian Workshop on Computational Mechanics" as a reference.
The rooms will be available at this rate until latest end of September.
Travel information
Hamburg is served by one international Airport (https://www.hamburg-airport.de) and can be also reached via one of its four long-distance train stations.
You can reach the hotel
by plane: at Hamburg Airport take the S1 to Jungfernstieg and from there the S3 to Harburg-Rathaus and then walk ~350m
by train: Harburg is an ICE and EC train station; from there you can either walk (~700m) or take the S3/S31 to Harburg-Rathaus and then walk ~350m
by car: via the A1, A7, B 75
Program
The program will start on November 9 at around 9 o'clock and will end after a sightseeing tour on November 11 in the early afternoon.
The final program will be announced soon.
Social Event
The conference dinner will take place in the restaurant Hamburger Elbspeicher on the first floor of an old Elbe warehouse with a beautiful view of the Elbe and the Port of Hamburg. On Saturday morning we will go on a guided tour through the HafenCity of Hamburg which combines tradition and modernity. Furthermore we will visit the Speicherstadt (UNESCO Heritage Site), the world's largest contiguous warehouse complex.

Workshop fee
Participants will receive an email with an invoice for the participation in the workshop. The fee includes coffee breaks, lunch in the refectory, a conference dinner and a sightseeing tour through the city of Hamburg.
