Greetings from Essen EMS Summerschool 2013

Welcome to the Website of the EMS Summerschool 2013.

With the launch of this site we'd like to keep you up to date on the latest information regarding the next Summerschool. For now you can find out about the preliminary schedule and the arrival in Essen. You can also read up on some background information about Essen and the Ruhr Area. As more information becomes available we will update the schedule and add a list of invited speakers and the corresponding abstracts. We are planning to open registration for the next EMS Summerschool at the beginning of 2013.

Update Registration Closed

With only a few days left until the start of the 29th EMS Summer School we are now closing the online registration. On-Site registration will be possible if you'd like to participate and haven't yet registered. If you decide to register on-site please note that we will not be able to guarantee your accomodation. In that case please look out for hotels by yourself.

For all participants we have compiled a list of the most important information regarding the location and travel to the Bildungshotel aswell as to the Campus Essen and the Summer School site. You can download the information [here].

Update Schedule / End of early Registration

29th EMS Summerschool Schedule

Also we'd like to announce the closing of the early registration phase. Normal registration is still open at an increased fee until the beginning of the Summerschool as long as space is available. If you'd like to present a poster please send your abstract until June 15th, the deadline for abstract submission.

Update Early Registration ends March 31th

We have ten days left for early registration. Anyone interested in the upcoming Summerschool is advised to take advantage of this opportunity and register within the next week.

Also sponsorship applications will be accepted until April 15th with the announcement of the winners two weeks later.

Update Confirmed Contributions

With the date for the Summerschool getting closer we are very glad to announce the latest list of confirmed speakers that will contribute on various topics. You can find the list of speakers here.

Update Registration is now opened

We are happy to announce that the registration for the the 29th EMS Summerschool is now opened. We highly encourage you to take an active part in the Summerschool by presenting your findings as part of our poster presentations. Prizes will be awarded for the best presentations. In addition you may apply for a limited number of sponsorships of up to 500 €.

Update Registration & Concept

We'd like to announce that the registration will open in January 2013 and end on March 31th. Late registration at an increased fee will also be possible. More information will become available on this website at the start of the registration period.
