Informations for applicants

The main research areas funding activities are aimed at promoting the profile of the social sciences, the arts and humanities and other fields of research investigating change in contemporary societies at Duisburg-Essen University, with regard to its conceptual framework "Building order in a borderless world" [link]

Scientists are highly encouraged to contribute it and to collaborate within the main research area. It thus provides funds for a wide range of academic projects and activities, from the preparation of applying for third party funds to supporting PhD and post-doc programs.

Any members of the University of Duisburg-Essen are eligible for applying for sponsorship by the main research areas grants according to the valid version of the call for applications.
