Patricia Rinck has received the Christiane-Rajewsky Award for her dissertation on "Peacebuilding and exclusion in Sierra Leone: a feminist perspective on political settlements and post-conflict transformation".

The Young Talent Award of the Working Group for Peace and Conflict Research (German abbr. AFK) is handed to scientists who have made an outstanding contribution to peace and conflict research. One dissertation and one master's thesis are honoured respectively. The award ceremony took place on 14 March at the AFK colloquium in Darmstadt.
