PublicationOver/Looked. Visual Regimes of (Forced) Migration
Images of migration are enacted and develop their own narrative dynamics which can effect feelings of tolerance, solidarity, and social cohesion, or conversely, of stereotyping and exclusion. The exhibition Over/Looked. Visual Regimes of (Forced) Migration traced avenues of production, storage, circulation, and agency of certain images in order to challenge prevalent perceptions of migration. This volume shows a selection of the exhibited images and brings together the accompanying texts.
