Christine Vennemann studies Cultural Studies and Business Administration at the University of Duisburg Essen and works as a research assistant in the Department of Anglophone Studies. For the Research Group, Christine assists with editing and updating the website, organizing events and workshops, and maintaining the research group’s library.

She studied Applied Literary and Cultural Studies along with Economics and Business Administration and Applied Linguistics at TU Dortmund University. She spent a semester in Trieste, Italy and worked as a student assistant for the chair of American Studies. In 2020, she completed her B.A. with her thesis on “Spaces of Inclusion and Exclusion in James Baldwin’s Another Country”.
