Diversity Research
Research centres, profile focus, affiliated institutes and projectsResearch spectrum of the UDE
Although diversity research is a relatively young discipline, many established fields of research have direct links to diversity-related topics, such as gender, migration, multilingualism, segregation in the education system or educational advancement and inclusion. The corresponding research results offer important approaches to solving future societal and economic challenges.
Within the framework of the diversity strategy, the goals are to make the broadly existing scientific expertise on diversity-relevant issues at the UDE more visible, to network it, to support new research initiatives and at the same time to let the research results flow directly into teaching and strategy development. Another goal is to promote and support diversity within research teams and structures.
