Diversity management is a component of the strategy lines for the development of teaching at the UDE ("Diversity awareness and educational equity") and thus serves to support the university actors in the fulfilment of their tasks in studying and teaching. The aim of the diversity-related activities in the area of study and teaching is to contribute to the qualitative improvement of the study conditions through a diversity-sensitive design of the study programmes and structures. The diversity measures at the UDE pursue in particular the goal of increasing the chances of different students to successfully and competitively complete their studies, improving student satisfaction with the study conditions and thus contributing to the reduction of drop-out rates.
