Conference warming at the EigelStein in Essen-Rüttenscheid.
For Wednesday evening (18:15) we have organised a self-paid conference warming at the EigelStein in Essen-Rüttenscheid. The EigelStein. named after a vibrant district in Cologne, is a typical, yet modern brewery style pub and restaurant.
It is situated in one of the most vibrant parts of the city of Essen and is easy to reach by undergroung (U11, Martinstraße).
Those who would like to have a full dinner, can choose from various options in addition: Options to be announced soon.
Note: You can registrer for the conference warming by sending an email to jrm-2011@uni-due.de or during on-site registration for the conference.
How to get there -
by tram 101 (from Rheinischer Platz)
get off at Martinstraße, exit onto Rüttenscheider Straße, continue until you reach Rüttenscheiderstraße 199.
or U11 (underground from Universität Duisburg-Essen)
get off at Messe Ost/ Gruga, exit onto Norbertstraße, cross Norbertstraße, take Florastraße, cross Alfredstraße, continue on Florastraße and turn left onto Rüttenscheider Straße. Continue until you reach Rüttenscheiderstraße 199.
by car (from Universität Duisburg-Essen)
continue on Universitätsstraße (university on your right), turn left onto Segerothstraße, keep to the right, turn onto Altendorfer Straße (IKEA on your right), turn left onto Hans Böckler Straße (B224) and continue on B224 (direction Düsseldorf/Solingen/Werden). Continue on B224 then turn left onto Martinstraße and finally right onto Rüttenscheider Straße. Continue until Rüttenscheiderstraße 199. Parking space is rare - prepare for a short walk between your car and the location.
