Your main tasks

  • You will conduct research in projects on data science methods for energy systems and markets.
  • You will also be involved in teaching and administrative tasks

Your profile

  • An above-average university degree (standard period of study at least 8 semesters) in the field of statistics/data science, (economic/business) mathematics, (economic/business) computer science, (economic/business) engineering, (quantitative) economics/business or similar.
  • You are interested in energy-related issues, interdisciplinary work and the development of statistical, data-based or mathematical models
  • In addition, you have a strong background in statistics, econometrics or data science, as well as knowledge of R, Python or C++.
  • Some experience in analyzing problems in the energy systems and markets field is also desirable.
  • You are fluent in English and German or willing to learn.
