From train station Essen HBF. use subway U11 (direction GE-Buerer Str.), U17 (direction Altenessen) or U18 (direction Berliner Platz). Leave the subway on station "Berliner Platz", go out at exit C and you are directly in Altendorfer Straße. Go straight down this road, passing the Colosseum and another building. On the left you will find the store "Conrad Electronic", above is located the department of mathematics.

You can use the door on the corner Kurt-Joos-Straße or, if you turn left, the main entrance Thea-Leymann-Straße 9 (Foyer).
