Arrival and Orientation
The Institute for Pathophysiology belongs to the University Hospital Essen and is located in the 3OG, component B/C of IG1.
Public Transport
The University Hospital Essen can be reached with the following bus and train lines:
The underground (U17), stop "Holsterhauser Platz" and the tram (106), stop "Klinikum
run every 10 minutes during the day.
It is possible to arrive by bus on lines 160/161, the terminus is also "Klinikum".
By Car
When arriving via the A 52 motorway:
Exit Essen-Rüttenscheid and then follow the signs to the University Hospital.
If arriving via the A 40 motorway:
Exit Essen-Holsterhausen and then follow the signs to "Universitätsklinikum".
Parking is available in the multi-storey car parks on Virchowstraße.
