The University of Duisburg-Essen's Strategic Research Area on Urban Systems will be discontinued on 1 April 2025. The researchers involved will continue to be active together with partners in the University Alliance Ruhr in the Competence Field Metropolitan Research (KoMet) as well as in UDE's Strategic Research Area on the Transformation of Contemporary Societies.
