1998-2002: Research Fellow at the "Septuaginta-Unternehmen der Akademie der Wissenschaften zu Göttingen"
2002: Founding member of the Greek Society for Ancient Near Eastern Studies
2002 July: Vice president of the newly founded Centre for Septuagint Studies of the Etaireia ton Filon tou Laou in Athen (= a society founded in 1865 in order to foster historical and philological research as well as the education of the Greek people).
2002 September: Research stay at Essen University, funded by the Humboldt-Stiftung.
