Dear colleagues and friends,
we cordially invite you to attend the 28th Symposium on Bioorganic Chemistry for junior research group leaders which will be held from September 23rd -25th 2019 at the University of Duisburg-Essen.
The symposium provides an opportunity for scientific exchange and discussion between the participants for initiating new collaborations.
A crucial element of the symposium are the scientific talks by the participants providing insights into their current research. Therefore, we encourage you to participate with an oral presentation!

Location / Travel information
The Symposium will take place in the "Gästehaus" of the Studierendenwerk (please see travel info).
By train, Essen Hbf can be easily reached from all over Germany.
By car, you can most easily park your car in the University parking lot at Reckhammerweg (the car can also stay overnight).
Schedule
Monday, September 23rd 2019
The symposium will start around noon, so that you can travel to Essen in the morning. In the evening, everyone is invited for a joint Barbeque!
Tuesday, September 24th 2019
After talks and discussion over the day, the traditional Beer & Pretzel lecture will be given by Prof. Benjamin List from the Max-Planck Institute in Mülheim. Afterwards, we will have a joint dinner with all participants!
Wednesday, September 25th 2019
After talks in the morning, the symposium will finish around noon.
