BIOME 2020 Conference
03-04.09.2020BIOME - 10 Years of Science, Education and Career Development
Concept: A two-day conference to commemorate 10 years of BIOME with a special emphasis on alumni guest speakers. All present and past BIOME members (student and staff) were cordially invited to touch base and share recent research and career insights with the invited speakers at this special event.
Venue: Deichmann Auditorium, Lehr- und Lernzentrum, Virchowstraße 163a, 45147 Essen
Contact: delia.cosgrove@uni-due.de
Please note: We proceeded with the conference as originally planned, but with a strictly reduced physical presence in the auditorium. The conference was simultaneously live-streamed to enable all other interested participants to join us online. Furthermore, due to international travel restrictions, a percentage of the speakers joined us digitally for their talks, so this was a hybrid event i.e. a combination of live conference and (live) webinar.
