Although BIOME would far rather prefer to be able to resume normal physical teaching as soon as possible, as an alternative we have established the digital structures needed for offering BIOME lectures and seminars virtually for an interim period, so that the training for doctoral accreditation is not jeopardised.

All BIOME doctorates should please ensure that they are technically equipped with a relatively good quality headset with a microphone and a webcam (should they not have such tools already). If a doctorate's private financial situation does not allow such a purchase, they should please speak to their doctoral supervisor about funding and purchasing these items as official group/institute equipment.
