From May 19 to 21, 2025Fourth CENIDE Conference
With the CENIDE conference, we want to bring together PIs and early career researchers from CENIDE at an external location to discuss research and shape the future of CENIDE. There will be two parallel sessions on the first day. Session A.1 The future of CENIDE for PIs and interested postdocs will discuss the new direction of CENIDE and its thematic modernization. In parallel, session A.2 Early Career Forum for early career researchers will present the existing support and discuss their specific needs.

Podcast ENERGOPOLISNothing works without energy
What will the district heating network of the future look like? What does an Energy Saving Commissioner actually do? And how can start-ups help combat climate change? The ENERGOPOLIS podcast is all about energy issues. But it's not just experts who should listen in - topics such as battery technology and the heating transition are made understandable for everyone. Energy newbies and professionals will get technical, economic, legal and political insights.

For the seventh timeThe ICAN User Meeting 2025 has taken place
On Monday, February 3, 2025, the seventh annual ICAN user meeting took place.
A large number of current and future users took part.
In addition to the safety briefing, this meeting offered the opportunity to find out more about ICAN and to address and clarify questions directly in an open discussion.

CENIDE

NETZ
The NanoEnergyTechnologyCenter (NETZ) is part of CENIDE. Physicists, chemists and engineers research new materials for energy applications and develop scalable processes for their production and processing. Find out more on the NETZ website.

ICAN
The Interdisciplinary Center for Analytics on the Nanoscale (ICAN) is the microscopy center at NETZ. Specially equipped laboratories and state-of-the-art equipment enable sensitive measurements with the highest resolution down to the atomic range. Find out more on the ICAN website.
