CENIDE is an internationally recognized institute for cutting-edge materials research and development with over 85 research groups. In six research areas, scientists integrate the fundamental understanding on the nanoscale to create new sustainable solutions for major societal challenges in the field of energy, information technology and health.
Working here at CENIDE comes with a lot of benefits, like the NETZ building, a modern center with laboratories and offices, where physicists, chemists and engineers do their research side by side. But also the ICAN (Interdisciplinary Center for Analytics on the Nanoscale), located at the NETZ, where analyses on the nanometer scale are enabled through high-quality machines, actual methods and scientific expertise.
The interdisciplinary network at CENIDE across disciplines is a great opportunity to do research with a lot of input from experienced scientists across disciplines, and also to start new collaborations and create a strong network.
