Marco Schmiedtchen

Marco Schmiedtchen

Marco received his bachelor’s and master’s degree at the University of Duisburg-Essen. He wrote both his theses in the Voskuhl group where he gained a lot of experience working with thioether-based aggregation induced emitters. After an internship at Evonik in Hanau, Marco returned to Essen for his PhD studies. There he investigates the photochemical synthesis of phosphorescent emitters for applications in materials science and biomedicine.
