Together with colleagues of the Faculty of East Asian Studies at Ruhr-Universität Bochum the IN-EAST offered a structured doctoral programme on Transnational Institution Building and Transnational Identities in East Asia, 2017–2022. The programme was financed by a grant of the Mercator Research Center Ruhr (MERCUR) and organized by our joint umbrella organization Alliance of Research of East Asia Ruhr (AREA Ruhr). Speaker of the doctoral programme was Nele Noesselt (IN-EAST).
