As the Chair of Interactive Systems, we want to make a contribution to the human-centered design of interactive technologies.
We investigate the impact of technology in practice and help shape the future of technological support for people.To this purpose, we base our research on a practice-oriented empirical approach that combines different methods and disciplinary backgrounds.
We are currently working on technologies such as augmented reality, robots and artificial intelligence.

Research: Human-Robot-Collaboration and Interaction
Interaction and collaboration with robots and AI will be part of everyday work and learning in the future. In our lab and in various projects, we investigate how robots and AI can be developed in a human-centered way.
Research: Working and leraning with Augmented Reality
Augmented Reality connects virtual and real worlds. In our AR laboratory and in various projects, we investigate ways to support individual and cooperative work and learning through augmented reality.
Digitalization in practice: Healthcare, Crafts, Trade, Production
In our application and practical projects, we develop solutions to support work and learning together with their future users and test them with them.
