Benefits for members of the University of Duisburg-Essen
Hybrid
- The contract with BMJ entitles UDE authors (corresponding authors) to publish free of charge in selected hybrid journals of the publisher
- The author fees are paid and financed centrally by the UDE. Invoices are processed by the University Library

Gold
- Publications in Gold Open Access journals are not part of the contract. The usual author fees (APCs) of BMJ apply for this
- Financing up to a maximum of €2000 via the University Library is possible. In this regard, please refer to our funding conditions
Requirements
- You are a member of the UDE and responsible for submitting the article as corresponding author
