Benefits for members of the University of Duisburg-Essen

Hybrid

  • The contract with Hogrefe entitles authors (corresponding authors) of the UDE to publish free of charge in all hybrid journals included in the PsyJournals-Portfolio
  • The author fees are paid and financed centrally by the UDE. Invoices are processed by the University Library

Gold Open Access

  • In the Gold Open Access journals the publisher grants a 25% discount on the publication fee (APC) 
  • Financing up to a maximum of €2000 via the University Library is possible. In this regard please refer to our funding conditions

Requirements

  • You are a member of the UDE and responsible for submitting the article as corresponding author
  • The University of Duisburg Essen or the University Hospital must be specified as the first affiliation
  • Eligible article types:
    • Research Work (Orginal Papers), e.g. Review, Review Article, Multistudy Reports
