Daria Baikova and Una Hadziomerovic presented the results of their PhD-projects on the annual general assembly of the collaborative research center RESIST

"Imprints of ecological processes on the taxonomic core community: an analysis using naturally replicated microbial communities enclosed in oil" published by Brauer et al. in FEMS Microbiology Ecology.

A trip to our field site was part of the kick-off meeting of the collaborative research project iMolch. The project is lead by Prof. Tobias Licha from the University of Bochum and is part of the large collaborative project LURCH on sustainable groundwater managment funded by the German Ministry for Education and Research (BMBF).

We performed a first test sampling of several groundwater wells at the Wasserwerk Flehe in Düsseldorf as part of the BMBF-funded project iLurch on sustainable groundwater management.
