New grant received from the DFG for studying "Effects of stressor hierarchies on river microbial communities during degradation and recovery from drought". The research will be carried out within the Collaborative Research Center RESIST.

18-19 April 2023 iMolch kick-off meeting

A trip to our field site was part of the kick-off meeting of the collaborative research project iMolch. The project is lead by Prof. Tobias Licha from the University of Bochum and is part of the large collaborative project LURCH on sustainable groundwater managment funded by the German Ministry for Education and Research (BMBF).
2 August 2023 Groundwater sampling trip

We performed a first test sampling of several groundwater wells at the Wasserwerk Flehe in Düsseldorf as part of the BMBF-funded project iLurch on sustainable groundwater management.
