Welcome at the Centre for Semiconductor Technology and Optelectronics

Completed in 1998, the centre is divided into two parts, a clean room building and an office/laboratory building. They are connected at right angles and are shared by the two chairs BHE and OE. The 4-storey clean room building is located in an east-west direction, the 3-storey office/laboratory building with a basement in a north-south direction. On the flat roof there is a photovoltaic system whose energy is used directly for the electrical consumers without intermediate storage.
