​The FutureWaterCampus (FWC) has been funded by the State of North Rhine-Westphalia and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) since December 2020. Around 2 million euros are available for research into innovative water technologies and the organization and management of the new FWC. The development and expansion of the research infrastructure is about to be funded by the construction of our own research center on Essen's Thurmfeld.  The FWC will be a dynamic meeting point for numerous teams of experts from various disciplines and will bundle activities in the field of water research.
