RESIST - a Collaborative Research Centre on multiple stressors affecting streams and rivers

Since January 2021, the German Research Foundation (DFG) has been funding the Collaborative Research Center 1439. Experts for a wide variety of stressors as well as for a broad spectrum of organism groups cooperate in the SFB. Its spokespersons are Professors Dr. Bernd Sures and Dr. Daniel Hering from the Department of Aquatic Ecology; in addition to 15 researchers from UDE, teams from the Universities of Bochum, Cologne, Kiel and Koblenz Landau as well as the Institute of Freshwater Ecology and Inland Fisheries (Berlin) and the Halle-Leipzig Environmental Research Center are involved.
