RefDex is a simulation tool for calculating the complex refractive index (n + ik) of thin films. Our motivation is to tackle "problem" samples, ones with rough surfaces, inhomogineities, etc.
The RefDex programme is freely available to the PV research community (universities and research institutes). It runs on PC under Windows and occupies after installation about 220 MB of disk space. More information about the programme can be found on the download page.
