We have reserved a number of rooms at Motel One downtown Essen as our conference hotel.

The rooms are single rooms with queen-size beds with breakfast and wifi included in the rate.

Currently, the rate is 80.50 € per night, which we expect to be lowered to 70.50 € per night as soon as the university's contract for 2019 is finalized. We apologize for the inconvenience and will update this information as soon as it becomes available to us.

If you would like to reserve such a room, please send an email until January 15, 2019 to Christine Cangemi indicating your preferred arrival and departure dates and name. Please note that you cannot book the room at the university's discount rate if you book directly.

The rooms will be available from 3 pm onwards on your arrival date and need to be cleared by noon on your departure day.

If you arrive later than 6 pm on your booked arrival date, please make sure to indicate that in your booking in order to make late arrival-arrangements with the hotel (which include securing your reservation with a credit card). Otherwise, the reservation will automatically be cancelled by 6 pm.

Please feel free to choose a different hotel if you prefer other venues.
