ERASMUS+
Incomings
Erasmus students who have been unable to register for classes online are kindly requested to consult lecturers before attending seminars and language classes. This will help ensure that the course is suitable and that there is enough space.
For information on studying at the University of Duisburg-Essen as an international student, please refer to the International Office.
Coordinator for Erasmus incoming students: Dr. Astrid Klooth
Outgoings: Application procedure
Online application via the AAA (Akademisches AuslandsAmt) possible from 1 December.
Deadline: 31 January.
Applicants choose universities in order of preference. Applicants studying to become a teacher ("Lehramt") have preference over 2-Fach BA and BA KUWI students. Places are normally offered by the end of February at the latest.
Outgoing students will be registered with their host universities and have accommodation and other formalities organised by July. The courses they attend abroad will be set down in their “Learning agreement” which will be signed by the departmental coordinator at UDE (Stuart Milne) and the receiving institution. Recognition of courses will be sanctioned by Dr. Michaela Meyer (Lehramt) and Dr. Torsten Caeners (B.A. and M.A. Anglophone Studies, Kulturwirt).
